Editor’s note: Each of the nine squares in a colour table represents a permutation of the letters in the (German) word to code a fake RGB value, eg <bgcolor="#AAFFNN">, <bgcolor="#NNAAGG">, <bgcolor="#FFNN00"> etc. in „anfang“ which will be rendered by the browser as <bgcolor="#AAFF00">, <bgcolor="#00AA00">, <bgcolor="#CC0000"> for the letters A to F only are proper hexadecimal notation. An interesting experiment in the nineties.
